Nippon Soda is working to improve its general distribution network with the overall aim of boosting its business competitiveness. With our main manufacturing plants located in Niigata and Toyama prefectures on Japan’s west coast, Nippon Soda is characterized by the fact that exports make up an extremely large percentage of our distribution volume. Our high export activity is why we have built infrastructure that can flexibly adapt to changing business conditions, supplementing our capabilities for taking in raw materials and loading ships with products on Japan’s Pacific coast with a system that allows us to effectively use ports on the west coast.
Going forward, we will continue with efforts to make our operations even more efficient by establishing distribution routes and systems that are optimal for individual product markets, plant locations, and distribution conditions at any particular time.
